We service the entire Greater Denver Area, plus Clear Creek, Gilpin, Summit, and Grand Counties.
Neglecting proper winterization can lead to cracked engine blocks, damaged exhaust manifolds, and ruined cooling systems due to freezing water. Our professional services ensure your engine, fuel system, and drive systems are thoroughly protected using premium materials, including -75° marine engine antifreeze, so you can enjoy a worry-free off-season and a smooth launch next spring.
We bring our expertise directly to your home, storage facility, or even your private boat dock and boat lift, or you can bring your boat to our shop in Evergreen.
Winterization Packages by Engine Type
We offer tailored packages ranging from essential freeze protection to full seasonal maintenance. Choose the service level that best fits your needs.
Sterndrives (Inboard/Outboards)
Comprehensive protection for all types of sterndrives, including MerCruiser, Volvo Penta, and OMC.
Standard Winterization Sterndrive Package
Price: $375 per Engine
The essential service to protect critical components from freezing.
• Drain all water from the hull of the boat.
• Remove all drain plugs from exhaust manifolds and engine block; reinstall plugs.
• Fill and flush engine and exhaust manifolds with marine engine winterizing antifreeze (as low as -75° rating, depending on where boat will be stored).
• Remove all engine and exhaust drain plugs one more time and recapture antifreeze to ensure the only remaining trace of fluids left in your engine and exhaust is rust prohibitive marine engine antifreeze. The drained antifreeze will be recycled and mixed with antifreeze concentrate to be used again, thus keeping our precious Colorado water supply clean and clear. Engine and Exhaust plugs will be reinstalled so that next season your engine will be ready to go.
• Fog engine through carburetor or intake to protect internal surfaces, prevent fuel residue from “gumming up”, and lubricate moving parts within the fuel system.
• Treat fuel in the fuel tank with advanced marine fuel stabilizer.
• Change gear oil in the outdrive.
• Disconnect battery leads and remove batteries for indoor storage (at customer’s discretion).
Deluxe Winterization Sterndrive Package
Price: $625 per Engine
Combine Standard Winterization with your annual maintenance. Includes everything in the Standard Winterization Service, plus:
- Run engine up to normal operating temperature prior to service.
- Change engine oil and oil filter.
- Change fuel filter/water separator.
Center Engine Inboards
Ideal for Waterski Boats and some Vintage Boats, such as Chris Crafts.
Standard Center Engine Inboard Winterization Package
Price: $350
• Drain all water from the hull of the boat.
• Removal of all drain plugs from exhaust manifolds and engine block; reinstall plugs.
• Remove all engine and exhaust drain plugs one more time to recapture antifreeze to ensure the only remaining trace of fluids left in your engine and exhaust is rust prohibitive marine engine antifreeze. Price: $600
Winterizing includes everything in the Standard Service, plus:
- Run engine to normal operating temperature.
- Change engine oil and oil filter.
- Change fuel filter/water separator, if equipped with canister-type fuel filter/water separator.
Premium Deluxe Center Engine Inboard Package
Price: $750
The ultimate preventative maintenance package. Includes everything in Deluxe Winterization Service, plus:
• Change transmission fluid.
Rear Engine Inboards
Ideal for Wakesurf and Wakeboard Boats equipped with V-Drives.
Standard Rear Engine Inboard Winterization Package
Price: $400
- Drain all water from the hull of the boat.
- Removal of all drain plugs from exhaust manifolds and engine block; reinstall plugs.
- Remove all engine and exhaust drain plugs one more time to recapture antifreeze to ensure the only remaining trace of fluids left in your engine and exhaust is rust prohibitive marine engine antifreeze. The drained antifreeze will be recycled and mixed with antifreeze concentrate to be recycled and used again, thus keeping our precious Colorado water supply clean and clear. - If your boat has a closed cooling system, only the exhaust system will be winterized as described above. The engine antifreeze that cools your engine and stays in your engine year-round will be checked with a refractometer to ensure it has a 50/50 concentration, and if not, we will add undiluted antifreeze to your closed cooling to ensure your engine is protected from the harsh winter temperatures.

Deluxe Package: $450 per Engine
• Includes Standard Service plus running the engine to normal operating temperature, changing engine oil/filter, and changing the fuel filter/water separator (if equipped with canister-type fuel filter/water separator).
Two-Stroke Outboards
Standard Package: $250 per Engine
• Flush engine with marine engine winterizing antifreeze (as low as -75°).
• Treat fuel tank with fuel stabilizer.
